A new video featuring information about Pokemon Sword and Shield released early this morning. The footage shows further details regarding new Pokemon living in the Galar region, and there are exclusive Pokemon from this region popping up.

Many of the new Pokemon showing up in the video comes from the numerous other generations. We’re getting a brand new version of Weezing, Zigzagoon, Linoone, who have a further evolution of Obstagoon, and Morpeko. Of all the Pokemon shown, Morpeko may be the fascinating one; it can change from a full-on electric type to a Dark-type Pokemon.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Galarian Forms

Galarian Weezing

The new Galarian form of Weezing looks pretty outrageous. The Pokemon still comes with the ridiculous form of having two heads, but now those heads have a green coloring to their facial hair and have green fog around them. It leans into the British aspect with both of the heads wearing a pair of top hats that look like chimneys. The smoking pushing away from their hats come with more giant stacks, emphasizing the effect. It’s also a poison and fairy type, now.

Galarian Zigzagoon

Zigzagoon and Linoone have changed as well. No longer are they purely normal-type Pokemon, as they have a Dark-type attached to them in their Galarian form, with a new streak of colors. Their fur is no longer the shady brown, and now have a white and black mix-match to them.

Galarian Linoone

Alongside their darker fur, they now both have significantly longer tongues, that gives them a new menacing look. The Pokemon now has a proper third evolution named Obstagoon. Obstagoon stands on its two hind legs, looking far more humanoid. It comes with thicker fur, a buffer look, and a new series of abilities attached to it. All three are a normal and dark-type Pokemon.

The final new Galarian Pokemon shown in the video is the Morpeko. Again, it’s the most unique of the Pokemon shown as it’s an electric and dark-type Pokemon. However, it can change to a complete dark-type, turning it into its Hangry mode. When Morpeko is in its Fully Belly mode, it’s an electric and dark-type Pokemon. It comes with an ability called Hunger Switch, which is how the Pokemon goes about changing form. When it changes to Hangry mode, it comes with a brand new aura and appearance, looking much darker than its typical form. While in this mode, Morpeko looks like its out for blood.

Those were all of the new Pokemon shown in the latest video for Pokemon Sword and Shield. We’re going to receive additional information about the game in the next few months. The game releases later this year on Nov. 15.
