Hideo Kojima reveals that players wont be able to see Norman Reedus’ penis in Death Stranding in the new peeing feature.
Hideo Kojima confirms that players won’t be able to see Norman Reedus’ penis in his upcoming game, Death Stranding.
In Death Stranding, you play as Reedus’ character named Sam. It is Sam’s job to reconnect isolated cities together by somehow bridging the divide between societies. Players can create new bonds, or “Strands,” with other players around the world.
The game first got announced in 2016 and has mostly remained an enigma to most gamers. Death Stranding is Kojima’s first game after leaving Konami and the cancellation of the highly anticipated Silent Hills game. Since 2016, more footage of the game has come out, including cutscenes and gameplay. The initial announcement for the game was confusing for many, and proceeding footage has only added more confusion.
Much of the footage of Death Stranding shows Sam walking in an empty field, carrying with him a baby in a tube. A lot of the footage is intently vague, with many components of the game being an unknown element. The game will also feature an all-star cast of voice actors, including Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and film directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn.
Kojima showed off more footage of Death Stranding at Gamescom. The footage was more of the same bewilderment that past footage has shown off. However, probably the most talked-about element of the new footage is the new peeing feature in the game.
Yes, you heard that right. You can have Norman Reedus pee in the game. This action led plenty of gamers asking the ultimate question: can we see Norman Reedus’ penis?
Sadly though, it doesn’t seem to be the case. Via a translator, Kojima reveals that the character Sam will move away from the camera if the player tries to see him urinating. IGN first reported this information, dashing fans’ hopes of seeing some Reedus’ penis.
If not being able to see a penis has not deterred you from getting Death Stranding then you’re good to go. You can look forward to the game when it releases on the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 8.
