As of right now, we haven’t seen any gameplay from the title. We only have a CGI trailer from the Microsoft press conference, but we do know that it is coming in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While the exact release date is still unknown, we have an exciting clue about it thanks to a new leak.
According to famed retailer Target, as shared by GamesRadar+, Elden Ring is releasing on June 30, 2020. Now, such dates typically act as placeholders, but this time there’s something more to it. June 30 is a Tuesday, in fact, and that is the day when most titles get released in North America.
Also, considering we’ve seen so little about the game until now, there’s a chance From Software might take advantage of E3 2020 to further show it in public. Doing so could let them use the hype of the E3 momentum.
Finally, 2020 is the year of the PlayStation 5, and Xbox Scarlett releases. It’d be easy to state Elden Ring might be coming well ahead the Holiday season. Anyone could have guessed a bit earlier than June, but that would make sense anyway.
In case you missed the previous news, this is the game Hidetaka Miyazaki, and George R.R. Martin is working on together. It’s a title many fantasy fans are going to want to observe.
