Could the Dark Knight be fighting alongside others in his new game?

We know that WB Montreal has been working on something over the past few months. And despite a few hints pointing at the Court of Owls, we haven’t heard anything official on it yet. However, an interesting source notes that the next game from the team will be a Batman game, but not quite the one fans are expecting.

According to New_WabiSabi, who has leaked rumors in the past that ended up being confirmed, the next game is called Batman: Arkham Legacy. And the Dark Knight won’t be taking on his foes alone, as the Twitter leaker indicates that multiple characters will be playable, within his “family.” This includes Robin, Batwoman, and possibly more.

Now, that would align with the images WB Montreal teased last month, pointing at that Court of Owls project. However, it hasn’t said anything officially. So, for now, Arkham Legacy should be taken with a grain of salt.

That said, though, the Video Game Awards 2019 is coming in December. And keep in mind that show, years ago, was the first place that we saw a glimpse of Batman: Arkham City before its timely release. So a Court of Owls-like reveal would make sense, given the hype that surrounds that particular event.

For now, though, Batman fans will have to wait and see what happens. In the meantime, hey, don’t forget you can play Batman: Arkham Origins, WB Montreal’s previous release, on Xbox One and PC. It’ll certainly pass the time while you wait for December to roll around.
