At last, time to sing karaoke with gangsters on Xbox.
For the longest time, PlayStation 4 owners have enjoyed Sega’s Yakuza games, but it never came to the Xbox. That’s changing now, though.
Today, Sega announced that it will bring three Yakuza games to Xbox One and PC next year on the Xbox Game Pass. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are set to go, with no word on the other games yet. The trailer below provides a glimpse of what’s to come with the three game releases.
Here are quick descriptions for each title, in case you missed them the first time around:
Yakuza 0 – Fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka as junior yakuza Kiryu and Majima. Take a front-row seat to the 1980s life in Japan in an experience unlike anything else in video gaming. There’s a ton of action along with karaoke.
Yakuza Kiwami – Become Kazuma Kiryu, an up-and-coming yakuza who takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss, only to emerge from prison ten years later to a changed world.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 – Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, must face the ambitious Ryuji Goda, the Dragon of Kansai, in an all-out war between two rival yakuza clans. There can only be one dragon.
Check out the trailer below and look for release details as soon as they’re available. Time to warm up those karaoke skills.
