Tencent Games has announced its next beta period for Arena of Valor on Nintendo Switch.

The period will run from June 28 to July 12 for a limited, closed beta in North America and Europe—the first beta period for North American players. Participants will receive an exclusive in-game skin for Krixi, one of Arena of Valor’s most popular mages. Interested players can still apply for the beta period on the Arena of Valor website.

The closed beta period will feature Arena of Valor’s five-on-five competitive mode.

A new trailer has been released for the beta launch on Nintendo Switch. The trailer showcases the game’s upgraded graphics and visual improvements for the popular MOBA game. The game also received a number of user interface changes based on feedback from earlier beta periods.

Arena of Valor’s Nintendo Switch release was announced in September during a Nintendo Direct livestream. Beta keys are expected to be delivered soon. Keys will unlock “unlimted play” during the two-week period.

The MOBA game is hugely popular in China, but has been gaining traction worldwide since its global release in December. More than 200 million players are registered in the game, and it reportedly receives up to 80 million daily active users.

Tencent hasn’t announced how many players will be chosen for the MOBA’s closed beta period.
