It looks like Battlefield fans will get their chance to try out the upcoming Grand Operations mode in Battlefield V after all. Publisher EA’s “ultimate multiplayer experience” will indeed be available when the game makes its October debut, much to the delight of many formerly-frustrated Battlefield enthusiast.

Previously, Battlefield V’s official website mentioned that the mode would be available “shortly after launch,” without offering a release date for when players might be able to expect it. Now, the site has been updated with an official statement.

“A previous version of this article stated that Battlefield V Grand Operations would be available shortly after launch, based on development plans as of June 9, the date the story was published,” EA said. “The article has been updated to reflect that Grand Operations will be playable at launch and as part of Tides of War.”
