Bloodborne 2, Sunset Overdrive 2 Show Up On Amazon

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Among the games involved we can find a sequel to Bloodborne, which Amazon claims is apparently releasing by December 31, 2019. Same as Sunset Overdrive 2, debunked multiple times by IP owner Insomniac Games, and a new Splinter Cell iteration.

During the weekend, Amazon Italy has made several unannounced game listings public, and some of them include titles that have been long anticipated among fans and have gone missing at E3 2018.

Among the games involved we can find sequels such as Bloodborne 2, which Amazon claims is apparently releasing by December 31, 2019. Same as Sunset Overdrive 2, debunked multiple times by IP owner and developer Insomniac Games, Borderlands 3 and a new Splinter Cell iteration.

The titles have a placeholder release date and price, but the fact they are showing up out of nowhere hints at least at the fact that the retailer has prepared the listing in the wait for an official announcement (perhaps they anticipated it to come at the last E3, too).

On top of these, Amazon Italy listings also feature Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch and Solaire of Astora amiibo coming on August 31, 2018 and Media Molecule’s Dreams releasing on February 22, 2019, the same day of Days Gone which makes it a bit hard to believe (via Twinfinite).

So, all of this appears to be a huge mistake rather than a huge leak. The pages are probably going away soon, but the fact that Amazon has them is perhaps a hint about things to come at a certain point in the future.

Walmart Canada had similar information back in the days and proved to be reliable when it came to Rage 2 at least, so it’s better to bear in mind this information in any case.
