Moze and her giant robot friend Iron Bear will be one of the options you can play as in Borderlands 3. The new Moze character trailer fills us in on their backstory.

Borderlands 3 will be landing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Games Store) on September 13. In the run-up to release, we are getting some nice character trailers to fill us in on the stories of the people we will be playing as. Today it’s Moze’s turn, a battle-hardened soldier who went AWOL from the Vladof army along with her mech, Iron Bear.

After being sent off to be slaughtered, and watching her unit die, Moze decided she had enough of the military life, so she set off with Iron Bear to make her way on Pandora. Now with Iron Bear watching her back, she feels she has all the friends she needs. I quite enjoyed this trailer, as I tend to have a soft spot for storylines that revolve around feelings of friendship with robots. I blame reading The Iron Giant as a kid.

Moze is a Gunner class character and will have access to three skill trees in Borderlands 3. Demolition Woman, Shield of Retribution, and Bottomless Mags. All three will have a substantial impact on Iron Bear. For some reason, I am always interested in the characters that have access to some turret or robot in Borderlands so that I will be playing Moze on my first playthrough. Iron Bear seems like a good friend to have in dangerous times.

We will be hitting the game as soon as it releases to bring you the best guides, news, and content that we can. Expect plenty of build guides as I try to figure out exactly what version of Mose can do the damage to the various threats in the world of Borderlands 3.
