Rocketcat Games’ Death Road to Canada has been delayed following a Toronto van attack that killed 10 pedestrians and injured 15 others.

Death Road to Canada was originally scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on April 25. The game is already available for PC, and on iOs and Android devices.

“Due to the tragic events that happened in Toronto yesterday, we felt that now wouldn’t be the right time to release Death Road to Canada, so we have put the release on hold for now,” publisher UKIYO Publishing wrote on Twitter. “We apologize to all the fans and our condolences to those affected by the events.”

UKIYO managing director Paul Hann added that it would be “deeply inappropriate to launch the game at such a time,” according to a press release. A new release date for Death Road to Canada has not been announced. More information is expected soon.

Death Road to Canada has players forging through zombie-filled streets on a randomly-generated road trip. Players are able to use a car to kill zombies, as well as engage in brawl-style fights in the streets.

Toronto police have since arrested 25-year-old Alek Minassian as a suspect in the attack. He was arrested after a standoff with police. Police are still investigating the Toronto attack.
