Hideo Kojima has visited Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam, and brought with him a playable private demo of Death Stranding.
The news was shared via social networks, and in particular Guerrilla managing director German Hulst shared his first photos and impressions about the visit.
One of the photos has Kojima himself with a DualShock 4 in his hands, meaning he was actually playing the game in front of the studio.
He reminded that “three years ago we gave Kojima Productions a copy of our Decima Engine,” and reported that “Hideo Kojima came back to show us the incredible things he’s making with it.”
Hulst added he is “so impressed” by what he was shown, and was not the only one to make such statement.
Horizon: Zero Dawn robots and combat lead Dennis Zepfi added that he “can’t stop thinking about” that, as the game is “intriguing, beautiful, touching, mysterious, amazing, artistic, thrilling, engaging, inspiring, masterful.”
Now we really want to see what they saw…
Death Stranding has no release date nor window yet, but there’s a slight chance it launches as soon as this year on PS4.
Three years ago we gave @KojiPro2015_EN a copy of our @DecimaEngine in this box. Today @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN came back to @Guerrilla to show us the incredible things he’s making with it in #DeathStranding. So impressed! pic.twitter.com/8dLpdIh1bI
