A brand-new trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken just dropped, and it focuses on the new expansion’s endgame location called The Dreaming City.

The home to Forsaken’s new Raid, The Dreaming City is also the homeworld of the Awoken race. The trailer boasts of many mysteries and adventures, with Bungie developers previously comparing the location to a mix between Destiny 1’s Vault of Glass Raid and Dreadnaught ship.

That comparison alone should excite long-time fans of the series, as both Vault of Glass and the Dreadnaught were two of the game’s most memorable experiences, chock full of secrets and challenges. If The Dreaming City is anything like them, Destiny fans are in for lots of fun next month.

There’s another activity called The Blind Well within the city, where players can earn unique gear. But not all is as it appears in the new location. It looks like we will once again be dealing with the Ascendant Realm, which is where players entered to take down Oryx, The Taken King, in Destiny 1’s largest expansion. “When the dream becomes a nightmare, the worthy will uncover loot and lore,” says the trailer.

The trailer culminates in a tease of the “massive Raid” at the city’s core where “an immense creature” awaits. Sounds a lot like a Raid to us. Destiny’s Raids are, hands down, some of the best experiences the franchise has to offer, so hopes for the new Raid will be very high.

All will be revealed on or about Sept. 4 when Destiny 2: Forsaken releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
