Destiny 2 – Where Is Xur for February 2, 2018?

This week, Xur is on Nessus. He is selling the The Prospector, Lucky Raspberry, An Insurmountable Skullfort, Ophidian Aspect. All this and Three of Coins and the Fated Engram are up for grabs.

Friday is Xur day. The mysterious vendor from parts unknown arrives in Destiny 2 with new and exciting loot. Let’s see what he has for us this week.

What is Xur selling?

Once again, Xur is selling three armor pieces, one for each of the three classes in Destiny 2. Xur is also carrying the Three of Coins, as well as my personal favorite, the Fated Engram. You can find a complete list of what Xur is selling below, along with the number of Legendary Shards you’ll need to snag each piece.

What Should You Buy?

I have said repeatedly, and will say again, I love the Prospector. Perfect for dumping damage, at high speeds, into things that need to die. If you haven’t got this, then rectify that. Lucky Raspberry is a dud for Hunters. There are just too many solid Exotics for the class and this simply doesn’t stand out. I’m generally not a fan of perks that deal in chances. Give me absolutes, every time.

Beyond being a terrible place to have to deliver mail to, An Insurmountable Skullfort is one of my favorite Titan Exotics. Infinite arc melee attacks for those who learn the timing, topped off with health regeneration to keep you in the fight. Finally, Ophidian Aspect is a strong choice for Warlocks. Improved weapon reload and ready speeds, along with an increase in melee range. This can be a real difference maker in the Crucible.
