Destiny 2 – Where Is Xur for March 2, 2018?

This week, Xur is in the Tower. He’s got his usual set of items, one weapon and three armor pieces, for sale, as well as the Fated Engram and Three of Coins.

Friday is Xur day. The mysterious vendor from parts unknown arrives in Destiny 2 with new and exciting loot. Let’s see what he has for us this week.

What is Xur selling?

Once again, Xur is selling three armor pieces, one for each of the three classes in Destiny 2. Xur is also carrying the Three of Coins, as well as my personal favorite, the Fated Engram. You can find a complete list of what Xur is selling below, along with the number of Legendary Shards you’ll need to snag each piece.

The Wardcliff Coil – Rocket Launcher

Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves – Hunter Gauntlets

Crest of Alpha Lupi – Titan Chest Armor

What Should You Buy?

The Wardcliff Coil is a must buy, if you don’t have it already. This Rocket Launcher shoots a whole swarm of rockets that can rapidly burn through groups of enemies, or singular tough targets, with ease. Unless you are one of the two people who have a thing for both the Sidearms, and the Hunter Class, you can skip the Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves. Not even suitable for Destiny Fashion, they just do not provide a perk that makes them stand out.

Crest of Alpha Lupi can be quite useful during some of the more intense moments of the game. Adding a heal to barricade can be a life saver, and who is gonna say no to an extra Orb of light? Definitely a solid option for people who are new to the game. Eye of Another World provides benefits across all the Warlock classes, giving faster regeneration for your Grenade, Melee and Rift abilities. It will also highlight priority targets, but this is far less useful than the quicker regeneration speed.
