Detroit Become Human Will Run At 1080p/30FPS On PS4, 4K/30FPS On PS4 Pro

Quantic Dream’s Lead Engine Programmer has revealed that Detroit Become Human will run at 4K/30FPS (checkerboard rending) on PS4 Pro, and at 1080p/30FPS on PlayStation 4.

Quantic Dream has revealed the Resolution and FPS at which their upcoming action adventure game Detroit Become Human will run on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. Speaking at GDC 2018, Ronan Marchalot, Quantic Dream’s lead engine programmer revealed that Detroit Become Human will run at 1080p/30FPS on the standard PlayStation 4, and at 4K (using checkerboard)/30FPS on PlayStation 4 Pro. In addition to this, Ronan Marchalot also revealed that Detroit Become Human will have HDR support on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

For those who are unaware of, Quantic Dream’s Detroit Become Human is derived from the studios’ 2012 tech demo KARA. The role of the lead protagonist is reprised by Valorie Curry. The development team has cast hundreds of actors from Los Angeles, London, and Paris before commencing the process of shooting and animation. The full script of Detroit Become Human is 2000-page long and David Cage took more than 2 years time to write it. According to Le Monde (French Newspaper), the overall development budget of Detroit Become Human is $30 Million.
