PC gamers will get to experience Dragon Quest Builders 2 when it gets ported next month.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 initially released in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch late last year. Then, the game was released outside of Japan earlier this year. Now, another new audience of gamers will soon be able to get their hands on the game.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be coming to PC via Steam on Dec. 10, Square Enix announced during a press release. This version of the game will include all of the game’s previously released DLC content, which means starting the game with things like new areas, clothing, hairstyles, and recipes. Specifically, the Hotto Stuff, Aquarium, and Modernist DLC packs will come with the base game.
Also, if you pre-order the game on Steam, or purchase it on or before Jan. 6, 2020, you will receive some bonus content. These pre-purchase/early purchase bonuses include the Ornamental Medicinal Herb Recipe, the Dragon Quest Logo Recipe, the Ornamental Chimaera Wing Recipe, the Legendary Line Art Recipe, the Lo-Res Luminary Recipes, and five Sigil Block Recipes.
For those unfamiliar with the Dragon Quest Builders series, these games have classic RPG elements of the Dragon Quest series and mix it with building mechanics similar to Minecraft. Dec. 10 will mark the first time a Dragon Quest Builders game will be available for PC. Despite its title, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a standalone game that you can enjoy without having played the first game. You can pre-order the PC version of the game on Steam now.
