Fortnite Battle Royale Update Brings a Sneaky Surprise

Fortnite Battle Royale is having a limited time event featuring a new silenced pistol. The Sneaky Silencer Limited Time Mode begins January 5th and ends January 8th.

Fortnite Battle Royale got its first update of the new year a few days ago and it’s bringing a sneaky surprise with it. Starting January 5^th and ending January 8^th, you’ll be able to showcase your stealthy skills in the new Sneaky Silencer Limited Time Mode. While this mode might be a mouthful to say, it does come with some restrictions, which are:

• Weapons are limited to Suppressed SMG and Suppressed Pistols only.
• Traps are disabled.
• Greatly increased drop rate of the Bush.

You will definitely have to rely on your stealth skill if you want to get the advantage during this event. You’ll still be able to build structures as you normally can, but just remember that while you’re doing that, someone could sneak up behind you to take you out.

Along with this limited time event, you’ll also have the chance to pick up a new Silenced Pistol. This new Silenced Pistol can be found as an Epic or Legendary rarity and can be found in treasure chests, supply drops, or as floor loot. If you take the extra time to look around, you should be able to find one. I will say that it is one weapon you will want to have in your arsenal, and it will give you the advantage you need.

Just remember that the Sneaky Silencer Limited Time Mode is only available for a short period of time, and when it starts, you won’t have to worry about waiting for a pesky update to download to start the event. Get out there, hide in the bush, and take your enemy by surprise using your stealth skills to become the last remaining player in Fortnite Battle Royale.
