After extended server downtime of over 14 hours yesterday, different issues have plagued Fortnite: Battle Royale today.
The problems began to crop up last night, a few hours after the 2.3.0 patch was deployed. Those include players getting stuck while aiming down sights, visual problems with the UI of the building selector, and reloading issues.
Today, players have had issues logging in on all platforms and joining up with friends in parties. Epic is aware of the problems and currently working on solutions, but it’s been persisting for most of the day.
It’s been a rough 24 hours for Fortnite, as the game’s servers went down at about 3am CT on on Thursday in order to deploy the new update. They did not come back up until after 5pm CT due to database issues.
Thankfully, Epic appears to be on top of the situation, offering numerous updates on Twitter throughout the day. All that’s left now is some patience and a little bit of hope that these issues can be nipped in the bud before they become commonplace moving forward.
