The players placing second through fifth in each of the regions will all receive 13,500 V-Bucks, while the fifth through 100th places all receive 7,500 V-Bucks. To check if you won, you can see the full standings for each region on Epic Games’ website.

“Expect ‘Showdown’ Limited Time Modes to serve as a test of your survival talent,” said Epic Games. “We’ll continue to make adjustments to future Showdown matches. Additionally, we’re looking to grow opportunities for all types of players to challenge their skills in their own way. We’ll be exploring different Showdown formats on a regular basis in the future.”

The initial Showdown mode featured regular Solo matches, while this past weekend’s featured the more faster-paced Blitz mode. This week also added more importance to eliminations by rewarding points for them, meaning players had to slay out as well as place near the top.

It’s possible that future Showdown modes could feature Duos or maybe even Squads. Stay tuned to see what else Epic has planned for ways to win V-Bucks in-game.
