That’s right—the new mode replaces every weapon drop in the game with legendary weapons. That includes weapons found on the ground, and those from chests and air drops. If you ever wondered what Fortnite would look like with dozens of golden SCARs lying everywhere, this is the mode for you.

You’re pretty much guaranteed a good drop weapon, no grey revolvers here. The downside? So is your opponent.

The mode is exclusively squads. So you’re going to need to find some friends, hope for a good group of random players, or go it alone against the teams.

Here’s the full list of weapons you can get in the new mode:

• SCAR
• Supressed Pistol
• Hand Cannon
• Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
• Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
• Minigun
• Rocket Launcher
• Grenade Launcher

Non-legendary drops that aren’t weapons are still in the game, so all shields, healing and grenades are still available.

As you might guess from the name, the mode won’t be around forever—but Epic has not given any indication of when it will end.
