Speculation has been rife about what will actually happen in this new season. Over the past few days meteors have begun landing during games after weeks of changes in the sky above the game’s map. Televisions have also begun broadcasting an emergency signal, so something big is coming.
The theme for the next season looks to be superheroes, with the Fortnite Twitter account seemingly introducing new characters or skins over the past week.
A post on Reddit over the weekend, claiming to have inside information, suggested that the map could change as meteors strike it throughout season four. Locations like Dusty Depot and Moisty Mire could be permanently removed from the game as a result.
The third season will come to an end, giving you less than a day to finish your season three battle pass. If you haven’t yet unlocked The Reaper as the level 100 skin, get in there and work on some challenges to get the last stars you need.
Fortnite has become one of the biggest gaming sensations of all time. It made nearly a quarter of a billion dollars last month, and excitement for the game is not subsiding. The new season will bring things to a fever pitch.
