Another title exploring mythology is here from Ubisoft.

Ubisoft is taking another dive into Greek mythology as some of the team behind Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey jump into a more cartoony style with Gods and Monsters.

Taking inspiration from classical locations, monsters, and stories in Greek myths, Ubisoft teased their upcoming title as they showed a game in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The developers even said it would be an open exploration game with action and traversal that will make players want to explore the rich world.

Gods and Monsters will take what made Odyssey exciting and bring it into a completely different context to make it more accessible to new players. The original concept and style look incredible, and Ubisoft might be able to hit a demographic that Assassin’s Creed completely misses for one reason or another.

Not only does the game seem more accessible for more gamers, but it is coming to regular consoles, PC, and Google Stadia upon release. Nintendo Switch and Stadia already make the game playable in most scenarios, leaving the game open for players.

Gods and Monsters will be out on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia on Feb. 25, 2020.
