For those itching to jump into a brand new RPG game, you’re in luck. Greedfall is coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC later this year on Sept. 10. In it, players assume the role of a diplomat-like character who acts as a speaker between the numerous factions meeting on the island.

Humans are making their way to the new piece of land. But they’re not the first to land on the island, as there are native Elves already living here. The game is a fantasy-based title that looks like it got uplifted from the 17th century. The people looking to live on the island have to co-exist with the Elves, but it’s never that easy.

As the diplomat character, players are going to need to pick sides with the numerous factions on the island. Many of them are going to rubbing each other the wrong way, forcing the player to make critical choices to benefit one over another. These choices are going to change the story, altering how a player’s playthrough as they build relationships with characters, companions, and other creatures lurking around the island.

Combat is also going to play a vital role in Greedfall, with the companions serving a particular purpose during engagements. Players are going to mix-and-match equipment to match the situations they’re facing during their journey.

It feels like a mixture of Dragon Age: Inquisition and the monsters you’d find in The Witcher 3. A lot is going on in this game, and there’s still time to pre-order the title if you still need to do so.

Grab Greedfall right now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC to start playing it on Sept. 10.
