HITMAN 2 will be released on November 13 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. New locations, features, and a whole new co-op Sniper Assassin game mode will be introduced. Pre-orders are now open and there are two trailers to check out.
Continuing the pre-E3 reveals, IO Interactive and WB Games have announced that HITMAN 2 will be coming this November to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Not only will new locations be introduced, but players will also be able to snipe together in a brand new Sniper Assassin co-op mode which you can start playing immediately.
HITMAN 2 Reveal Trailer
HITMAN 2 will include six brand new sandbox locations and bring back several fan favorite game modes, including a campaign and elusive targets. During HITMAN, IO Interactive provided a steady stream of free content updates to keep assassins happy and busy, and this trend looks to be continuing.
Of the six new locations, only Miami has been revealed so far, but the official HITMAN website has locked placeholders for more. We can expect at least some other locations to be revealed at E3 next week.
Sniper Assassin
For the first time, friends will be able to team up in the new Sniper Assassins mode and work cooperatively to dispose of their targets. This may be the best way to get your pal, who you bought the game for and who has mostly ignored its existence, into the series. I’m speaking as the guy ignoring the game, while our Editor-in-Chief has been trying to convince me to take a turn as his favorite bald assassin for years now. If you pre-order any edition, this new game mode will be included free of charge. Oh, and you get it right now! It can also be played in single-player mode, so you don’t have to have friends who want to snipe with you.
We’re looking forward to more details once E3 kicks off next Tuesday and we’re excited to explore so many new ways to kill people this November.
