Legendary Kyogre and Groudon are available for Pokémon 3DS players starting today

Pokémon Sun and Moon as well as Ultra Sun and Moon owners can pick up the Legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon as of today. Players can head out to their local GameStop beginning today all the way through Aug. 26 for a special distribution code that can be redeemed for one of the Pokémon.

Anyone with a Pokémon Sun and Ultra Sun game will receive a code for the Water-type Kyogre, while Pokémon Moon and Ultra Moon players will get codes for Groudon, the Ground-type Pokémon. Both are at level 100 in Ultra Sun and Moon, and level 60 in Sun and Moon. 

With your code in hand, it’s simple to nab your new Legendary gifts. All you need to do is load up your game, and then choose the “Mystery Gift” option from the main menu. From there, select “Receive Gift.” Then, choose the “Get with Code/Password” option, choosing “Yes,” then “Yes” again to connect to the internet. You’ll receive your Pokémon from there. After that, all that’s left is to make sure you have an open slot in your party. Head to any Pokémon Center nearby and speak to the delivery person, and voila—you’ve just picked up your Kyogre or Groudon.

This isn’t the last of the games’ Legendary distribution, though.
