Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, the followup to Monster Hunter Generations on Nintendo 3DS, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on Aug. 28.

The game, known as Monster Hunter XX in Japan, will be a Switch exclusive in North America and Europe. Developer Capcom is increasing the monster roster, hunting styles, and quests. Players that had access to the original version will be able to transfer their save data to the Nintendo Switch version. Monster Hunter XX was released on March 18, 2017 in Japan.

New monsters include a “Deviant” variant, Elder Dragon Valstrax, and an endgame boss called Ahtal-Ka. Deviant monsters are “more powerful variants” of enemies that have survived hunter encounters and have earned new traits and abilities.

New Deviants include Boltreaver Astalos, Elderfrost Gammoth, Soulseer Mizutsune, Bloodbath Diablos, Nightcloak Malfestio, and Rustrazor Ceanataur.

There will be two new hunting styles, too—alchemy style and valor style. “Alchemy style offers a twist to the average hunting arsenal by giving a barrel that, when shaken a bit, can yield items with special properties, interesting buffs for your hunting party, or even unique attacks,” Capcom said. “Valor style demands the ultimate knowledge of your target as you place a bet on your health bar in exchange for powerful counter attacks.”

As for the new G rank quests, they’ll offer Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate’s toughest foes with new attacks and behaviors. Players can earn serious gear from completing these quests. Local and online multiplayer is also available.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch on August 28. It’ll be playable early at E3 2018, which starts in June.
