Tired of slaying Bokoblins, Link will be coming to the world of Monster Hunter, mining ores and cooking meats in a land exotic to him. Link’s tunic, the classic green with pointed cap and ocean blue top from Breath of the Wild, will be available in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Your Palico can also play dress-up, with outfits based on Breath of the Wild‘s cheeky Korok people, and an eerier Toon Link get up.
Throughout the year, Monster Hunter: World has received crossover campaigns and content from other Capcom classics like Street Fighter, Devil May Cry and Mega Man. Most recently, Capcom announced Monster Hunter: World would get Final Fantasy‘s Behemoth for hunters to conquer. It doesn’t seem like the Switch will be getting a version of the most popular Monster Hunter to date, but exclusive Zelda content ought to sweeten the deal for Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
Monster Hunter isn’t the only game getting a Zelda care package. Even though Link and Hyrule were already available in Mario Kart 8, Nintendo announced earlier today that Breath of the Wild-themed content are en route to the racing game, including Link’s blue outfit and Master Cycle Zero chopper.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate comes to the Nintendo Switch on Aug. 28.
