Only one day after releasing the previous patch, Capcom has pushed out Update 1.04 (1.0.0.9 for Xbox users) for Monster Hunter: World for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s starting to become clear that there will be no waiting around for bugs to pile up before fixes are issued. This is so refreshing to see!

Monster Hunter: World Patch 1.04

Once again, this is a fairly small patch, ringing in at just over 80MB on both console systems. Capcom does add the note that if you have not updated to the prior patches, this update will include them, bringing the total to around 900MB. Still not likely to eat up your bandwidth allotment for the month of February. That’s a good things, because I suspect we’ll be seeing more patches on a regular basis.

Here are the patch notes:

Major Changes:

  • Fixed an issue where, in rare cases, the assignment “The Encroaching Anjanath” would not appear on the quest board during online play.
  • Made some readjustments to how Elderseal values are calculated.

Other Changes

  • The update will also include various minor bug fixes.

As a side note, you only have a few days left to get your hands on the Horizon Zero Dawn Palico armor set!

There you have it, folks! Nothing major was tweaked and all your previous tactics of fighting the various monsters in Monster Hunter: World will still apply.
