Get all the fatalities and mayhem on the house!
Mortal Kombat 11 has unleashed all sorts of fun carnage since it came out earlier this year. However, some of you still may not have had the opportunity to check it out. Fortunately, Warner Bros. has just the opportunity to do so this weekend.
The publisher confirmed today that it would let fans try Mortal Kombat 11 for free starting on Friday, Oct. 11; and running through Monday, Oct. 14. During this time, players will be able to check out a majority of the content it released so far.
This content includes two chapters of the initial Mortal Kombat 11 campaign, as well as access to the entire roster, which is made available. The list consists of all the main game characters, as well as the DLC characters, including Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and the recently released Terminator T-800, featuring the likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Now, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Number one, it’s for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only. Sorry, Nintendo Switch owners. Secondly, you do need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold if you want to test out the game’s online multiplayer. But most of you have that already, so not the end of the world.
Finally, any progress that you make within this version of the game will carry over to the full version. And what’s more, Mortal Kombat 11 is actually on sale during the trial. You can score it for 40 percent off on PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace all weekend long. It’s a great chance to jump in and score some carnage!
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
