A new trailer for Life is Strange 2 was revealed during the Gamescom opening conference, showing the direction the story will go in the next episode.
The Gamescom 2019 opening conference is underway, and with it comes a number of new reveals, news, and trailers for various games. One trailer shown during the conference was the new trailer for the next episode of Life is Strange 2, which is set to premiere later this week.
WARNING: Due to the episodic nature of Life is Strange 2, the new trailer, and discussions surrounding it (including this article), involve major spoilers for all of the previous episodes of the game.
Following the dramatic end of Episode 3, Sean has fallen into a coma, wakes up in a hospital, and has been separated from his brother Daniel. The hospital Sean wakes up in seems to be in Nevada, so at least he’s made some progress in continuing south. However, it has been more than two months since the events of the previous episode, so Daniel’s been on his own somewhere, and Sean is reasonably concerned. So, Sean is out to find his brother, and inevitably gets involved with some more shenanigans along the way. It also seems that Sean will be meeting back up with someone who he knows, possibly his estranged mother.
The first three episodes of Life is Strange 2 are currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This fourth episode will be released this Thursday, Aug. 22. Later, the fifth and final episode of the game will be released on Dec. 3. You can watch the new trailer for the upcoming fourth episode below.
