Nintendo Switch in the United States sold over 4.8 million units since launch in March 2017 and became the fastest selling gaming system in the history of the United States.
Nintendo is breaking all sorts of records in the gaming platform division with the launch of their latest hybrid console, Nintendo Switch. It has been almost 10 months since its launch and the sales of the console are still pretty good. Now, Nintendo has just announced the accomplishment of their latest milestone on their website.
According to their internal sales figures, they have sold over 4.8 million units in the US, starting from the launch date. Which makes it the fastest selling console in the US, which hit 4.8 million mark in just 10 months. The previous record holder was the Nintendo Wii at 4 million units, in the same duration.
According to their analysis,
- 60% Users own Super Mario Odyssey.
- 55% users own Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
- 50% users own Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
- 20% Users own Splatoon 2.
