Pokémon GO Community Day for August 11 and 12 includes Eevee as the exclusive Pokémon to catch, with three time catch stardust and three hour Lures.
Pokémon Community Day for July 2018 has come and gone, which means we’ve got Pokémon Community Day for August 2018 to look forward to. Starting August 11 to August 12, you will be able to catch the Normal type Pokémon Eevee along with its Shiny Variant.
The additional bonuses that will take place during this Pokémon Community Day are of course three-hour Lures and triple stardust for catching Pokémon. This is a great time to use a star piece to gain additional stardust as well.
What makes this Community Day unique is that Eevee has five different evolutions, which means five different unique moves and shiny variants. The Community Day is also extended for two days which could be due to the number of evolutions. This would also be a perfect time to release the Gen 4 Eeveelutions Glaceon and Leafeon as well.
The Shiny Variant of Eevee will also be seen during the event and will be easily identified by its white color. Since Eevee has several evolutions, the colors of each shiny Pokémon are listed below.
- Flareon – Light red and yellow
- Jolteon – Light green
- Vaporeon – Purple/Pink
- Espeon – Black and light blue
- Umbreon – Bright Green
If you haven’t used any of the name tricks to evolve your Eevee, make sure you’re ready to go with our Eeveelutions Guide.
The Eeveelutions will know a move they usually don’t know during this Pokémon GO Community Event as well, but that has not been released yet. Eevee will know the Normal type move called Last Resort. It is still unclear if any of the Eeveelutions will know any unique moves. TL;DR Games will update this article if any changes occur.
This Pokémon GO Community Event will bring out the uniqueness in everyone. To find out what time it starts in your area, head over to the Pokémon GO Event page.
