Pokémon fans eager to get their hands on Pokémon Unite will have a chance to test the game early if you live in a specific part of the world and have an Android device. If you have access to the Google Play Store in Canada, you can sign up for the Pokémon Unite Regional Beta, which is set to take place this March. While the game will release on iOS and Nintendo Switch, only Android users will have access to this test period.
To be eligible to partake in the Pokémon Unite Beta, you must be at least 16 years old, have an Android device with 3 GB of RAM or more, and Android Version 5.0 installed, and, like mentioned above, be located in Canada.
If you are chosen to participate in the Beta, the progress you make will not carry over into the full game when released down the road. Capturing or streaming gameplay is also not allowed during the test, so be sure not to release any early footage on social media.
If you live in Canada and meet all of the other requirements, here is how to join the Pokémon Unite Beta and get yourself in on the early action.
Pokémon Unite was announced last summer and is the first MOBA in the series. You can check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
