Sims FreePlay has had babies for a while—you could buy them by purchasing a crib and they show up within 24 hours—but the process is getting a bit more realistic.

Instead of a baby magically appearing, Sims FreePlay characters can now get pregnant. It’s a whole process, too. “This update introduces a pregnancy experience never before seen in The Sims franchise, and empowers Sims FreePlay players to create their own stories by emulating the steps of real-life pregnancy and allowing them to experience the full joy of all the milestones that come with creating new life,” Firemonkeys Studios said in a statement.

A sim’s baby bump will grow through trimesters, with a bunch of different pregnancy-related activities to be unlocked, including “ultrasound appointments, prenatal yoga and aerobics classes, a baby shower, nursery decorating, [and] selecting maternity clothing.”

Once the baby arrives, Sims FreePlay players will be able to participate in the Day Care Live Event, which is scheduled to start on June 24. The event has players designing their own day care, “where they’ll nurture babies and toddlers with a play kitchen, reading island, change tables, and more,” Firemonkeys Studios said. “Once the toddler playground is unlocked, their little ones can slide, seesaw, and swing to their hearts’ desire.”

A pregnancy-related quest called A Bump-y Road Discovery Quest, which began on June 19.

Sims FreePlay was released in December 2011 on iOS, February 2012 for Android, September 2013 on Windows Phone, and July 2013 on Blackberry 10. The game continues to get updates, except on Windows Phone 8.
