Electronic music producer and DJ Joel “Deadmau5” Zimmerman could be the next celeb to be immortalized with his own set of skins in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

A Reddit user named “DarkDevildog” has uncovered evidence of a “Deadmau5 Crate” within PUBG’s code, leading many to believe that the creator of songs like “Ghosts N Stuff” could be getting his own weapon skins or maybe even a big mouse chromedome cosmetic helmet.

The post on Reddit came shortly after the limited time offer skins inspired by PUBG streamers Guy “DrDisRespect” Beahm and Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek came and went, so it’s possible that Deadmau5 could be next in the line of popular influencers to get some love within the game itself.

The Shroud and DrDisRespect crates were on sale for about a month at $9.99 apiece. The skins were available for direct purchase instead of having the same “loot box” formula of the other crates in-game.

Deadmau5 has always been quite vocal about his love for PUBG. He has streamed it quite often on his Twitch channel. He’s even played highlight videos of himself eliminating popular streamers in-game on stage at his concerts, and he has a tattoo of a frying pan with the caption “Esports Ready” on his left hand.

It’s unknown what the Deadmau5 Crate would contain, but the Shroud and DrDisRespect crates both had two unique weapon skins inspired by the two streamers, who also helped out with the designs. It’s likely that Deadmau5 could have something similar, but the possibility of his famous helmet turning Sanhok into a more literal game of cat and mouse is exciting.

Update June 7 1:19PM CT : Twitch has confirmed that Deadmau5 will be a part of a Prime Day event, which will include PUBG streams, a performance of Deadmau5’s new single “Monophobia,” and real life merchandise featuring the musician and DrDisRespect. There are no details on in-game Deadmau5 swag as of yet, but the event will include a “reveal of exclusive PUBG in-game content for Twitch Prime members.”
