Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre-Order Bonuses and Collector’s Box Revealed

If you pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2, you stand to gain at least a war horse and extra cash, but some editions include extra story mission content, several extra guns, outfits, and in-game boosts. Rockstar Games also revealed the extras included in the Collector’s Box edition, which include a steel box and more.

Thanks to some more non-leaked information coming out of Rockstar Games, we now know what extra goodies to expect if you should choose to pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2. For many fans of the series, a pre-order will be a no-brainer, but you may also want to decide on what edition to grab.

Pre-Order Bonuses

Depending on the edition you choose to pre-order, and there will be three to choose from, you will receive the following bonuses:

• A treasure map
• Gameplay boosts in the form of cash and health items

Purchasers of the $79.99 Special Edition will also receive:

• Bank Robbery Mission & Gang Hideout
• The Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit
• Three Weapons Free at Gunsmiths
• Outlaw Survival Kit

The $99.99 Ultimate Edition will include all of the above and add the following:

• Exclusive Ultimate Edition Printed Map
• Collectible SteelBook

For those that choose to go all out and purchase the Collector’s Box edition, they will receive quite a few physical goodies, including:

If you’re wondering why the Collector’s Box only costs $99.99, it’s because this edition does not actually include the game. Yes, it’s merely a collection of goodies, so you’ll still want to order one of the other editions listed above.
