The bug isn’t really doing anything to your save file, but works so that the title to properly go into the gameplay after the loading picture.
Basically, the picture montage stays forever on the screen even while the loading is over and the game starts running in the background.
What you need to do is going blindly in the game and load the last mission, pushing this buttons on your PS4 controller:
- Options (start)
- Down (d-pad)
- Down (d-pad)
- X
- X
Right (d-pad) (click it a good few times to reach the chapter you are on, best to over click to guarantee you are on the furthest chapter)
- X
- Up (d-pad)
- Triangle
- X
While doing so you’ll still have the picture montage on the screen but at a certain point you’ll notice it’ll load the previous game and get rid of the loading loop.
Of course, we’ll be waiting for an official fix from Rockstar Games, but in the meantime it’s working and sparing you to start the game all over again.
