A new pic from Red Dead News hints at a possible spoiler for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is not as major as one could expect but at least possibly tells us more about what we could anticipate from the story.
The photo features the steelbook for the game, which first of all comes with two disc slots – so it’s kind of confirmed at this stage that the title is coming complete with two Blu-ray discs.
Then, as Twitter user Jack Nelmes points out, “surely this box foreshadows the gang splitting up? seems a little odd Dutch, Bill, and Escuela are all on the right side (all of which John kills in RDR1) whilst Arthur is on the other side with john and the other two?.”
“In the trailer John mentions loyalty, we know Dutch wasn’t Loyal to John as he and the other two left him to die after the robbery went wrong, what if Arthur and the other 2 go back to help John which is why he never mentions them in RDR1 to Edgar as he doesn’t want them to be hunter killed (assuming they’re alive)?.”
So, it’s quite interesting even though a bit rushed in terms of deducing stuff like this from a simple steelbook’s artwork, but again it’s kind of likely that this gang split is going to be the thing to move the story since the beginning of the game.
On top of that, Red Dead Redemption 2 preload is now available for PS4 and Xbox One in case you preordered the game. It’s a neat feature for a game this big since it’s coming at 92.742 GB on PlayStation and around 107 GB on Xbox.
