Dataminers have again revealed potentially big news in the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale: two new game modes.
Score Royale and Final Fight look to be future Fortnite: Battle Royale Limited Time Modes, according to Twitter account @FNBRLeaks, which found information about the modes in the game files earlier today.
Final Fight will pit larger-than-usual teams against each other in the pursuit of the Victory Royale. The game mode will feature three playlists of varying team sizes. Of the three, two have already been seen in the game: 50-vs.-50 and Teams of 20. There will also be a new playlist, 8×12, which allows eight teams of 12 players each to battle.
On top of Final Fight, a brand-new LTM is likely coming. In the game files, dataminers uncovered Score Royale, which will reward players for finding loot with points. Players can earn points by “opening loot containers, using foraged items, and eliminating other players,” according to the description @FNBRLeaks found.
Instead of awarding the win to the last player alive, Score Royale gives it to the person with the most points. The player that passes the High Score threshold will be declared the victor no matter how many opponents are left standing.
There was a lot revealed in Patch v4.4’s game files: New emotes, skins, and game modes are entering the game and at the same time, the Jetpack is vaulting and the Shopping Cart has been removed. With so many changes happening in short succession, this period may be one of Fortnite’s most important yet.
