Thanks to Game Informer’s coverage, we’re able to learn and share more details about the upcoming Spider-Man PS4 game, and in particular about the suit and the white logo which has yet to find an explanation despite being showcased in every trailer of the title thus far.
From what Insomniac Games told the studio, it looks like the white logo suite won’t be a feature from the beginning of the game, but will come at a later moment in the adventure. We’ll start with the classic blue and red suit indeed.
Game Informer was said that the studio designed the white logo for a reason, but still doesn’t want to unravel the mystery as it is like one of the biggest revelations in the entire adventure.
Maybe linked for some reason to this mystery, we’re explained that the blue suit parts are active material, red is armor, while white is an unknown protective material. Apparently, the color white is strictly connected to the STORY.
Interestingly, the suit itself – without taking into account the different skins – has been designed specifically for the game and is not one of those we’ve already met in the comics nor the movies.
Ted Price’s software house says it has put a lot of care and attention to details, studying every particular of it and adding specific materials to knuckles, for example, doing blue boots, etc.
Talking about gameplay, the unique suit powers unlocked can be used on all the suits and not only on those we have unlocked them on. These powers can be achieved with the points earned thanks to the good moves and takedowns we do during the action.
Spider-Man is releasing on September 7, so there’s still a lot of time to learn more details about how it works… and what that white logo actually means! We’ll share all the updates as soon as they’re available.
