Hyrule Warriors: Definite Edition has finally arrived for Nintendo Switch owners around the world and fans are eager to find out what’s different in this game compared to the previous version.

The game includes all of the story content and modes from both Hyrule Warriors for Nintendo Wii U and Hyrule Warriors Legends for Nintendo 3DS—and it combines both games into one neat package.

There are only a few additions from the older versions of the game in order to maximize the experience. One of these changes includes upscaling the resolution, which is now at 1080p when in TV mode. Local two player multiplayer on one console has also been added alongside different control scheme options.

Certain characters also aren’t available from the start, but 15 are unlockable through the various modes in-game. These characters include Linkle, Toon Link, Marin, and more.

There have also been improvements made to the game with Fairy Mode. Fairies are now displayed in 3D and are visible on the battlefield instead of just in that mode. Total collectable weapons for each player have been increased from 10 to 20, and Beamos, an enemy who requires bombs to destroy, can finally be targeted.

The only new content is the addition of two costumes for both Link and Zelda based off of their The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild attire. These costumes can be used from the get-go for both characters.

Aside from the minor changes and the addition of a new costume, not much else has been changed in the game. Hyrule Warriors: Definite Edition is nearly identical to both of its previous versions and only exists to provide a definitive experience to those who didn’t pick the game up on former consoles.
