Super Mario Odyssey has sold an eye-watering 10 million units since launch

The sales for all Nintendo published titles were updated earlier today after Nintendo’s financial results. Nintendo also confirmed that the Switch had sold over 17 million units worldwide since its release early last year.

alsoAfter Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart Deluxe (9.22 million) and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (8.48 million) are the next biggest Switch titles by Nintendo in the past year. Other titles that have sold over one million units include:

• Splatoon 2 (6.02 million)
• 1-2 Switch (2.29 million)
• ARMS (1.85 million)
• Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (1.31 million)
• Kirby Star Allies (1.26 million)
• Pokkén Tournament (1.16 million)

Nintendo Switch titles weren’t the only ones to do well this year, however. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon sold an impressive 750,000 units worldwide while Mario Kart 7 and New Super Mario Bros. 2 continued to sell more units, boosting their global lifetime sales to 1.7 million and 1.2 million respectively.

Nintendo finished off their financial results by forecasting 100 million software sales by the next financial year and with titles like Mario Tennis Aces and Super Smash Bros. coming later this year, they just might surpass that goal within the next 12 months.
