An awards show, a movie, and a good time!
Geoff Keighley’s annual The Game Awards show has gotten pretty big over the past few years, with millions of people tuning in to see what big games are on the horizon. 2019’s show is going to be bigger than ever because fans will be able to see the event on the big screen for the first time.
Keighley took to Twitter today to announce that The Game Awards would broadcast to 53 Cinemark theaters across the United States. The announcement also went up on Cinemark’s page, noting those who attend will also get select swag. What’s more, it’ll double up with a special screening of Jumanji: The Next Level, which debuts in theaters one day later, on Dec. 13.
With the purchase of the “Superticket” to the show, fans will also be able to take part in The Game Awards Bingo to win “awesome prizes,” along with food deals, including cheap drinks, popcorn, and hot dogs because you need snacks when you watch The Game Awards.
Those looking to attend the show can check for available screenings here. The Game Awards 2019 takes place on Dec. 12.
