Untitled Goose Game, one of the surprise indie hits of the years, will be making its way to Xbox One on Dec. 17, if you want to take a gander at it. Initially released for Windows, macOS and Nintendo Switch on Sep. 20, developers House House has confirmed that the game will be launching on Xbox One in the run-up to Christmas.
The game will include 25 achievements and will be Xbox One X enhanced with 4K Ultra HD. In Untitled Goose Game, you play the part of the titular goose, bringing havoc to the seemingly happy lives of the unfortunate people who live in the village that you also call home.
You spend your time making people fall over, throwing things in lakes, causing arguments between neighbors, and terrorizing small children. The village itself is divided into multiple areas that constitute levels, and each region has a to-do list for you to complete before you move on. It is up to you to figure out how to complete each task, and stop the townsfolk from interfering with your rebellious goose lifestyle.
Untitled Goose Game was an instant success when it launched, the hilarious yet straightforward gameplay offering people a nice break from the more serious side of gaming. It also rapidly infiltrated the mainstream, with different companies using an assortment of memes to piggyback on the popularity of everyone’s favorite new anti-hero.
Untitled Goose Game will release on Xbox One on Dec. 17.
