Detectives, starships and more highlight November’s freebies.
It’s almost a new month, and you know what that means — a batch of new games to download on Xbox One for Xbox Live Gold members.
November’s Games With Gold have been revealed — and there’s something for everyone. Whether you want to be a masterful detective, an ace star pilot, or a daring driver, there’s something here that’ll stand out.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter- Nov. 1-30
First up is the classic mystery game from Bigben Interactive, available all month long. “Experience a fantastic adventure with unique gameplay that blends investigation, action, and exploration in a breath-taking thriller that will test the limits of your nerves and intelligence. Play as the great detective and track down evil in the darkest corners of London and the human soul…”
The Final Station- Nov. 16-Dec. 15
Those intrigued by survival-based games will like what The Final Station has to offer. “Travel by train through a dying world. Look after your passengers, keep your train operational, and make sure you can always reach the next station. Make your way through swarms of infected at each station. Explore mysterious and abandoned stations looking for supplies and survivors.”
As for Xbox 360/One games, there are two favorites that players of all ages should enjoy.
Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter- Nov. 1-Nov. 15
This classic LucasArts adventure features stunning space combat! Take flight with several different vehicles as you clear out enemy forces and engage in special abilities to keep the galaxy safe from harm!
Joy Ride Turbo- Nov. 16-Nov. 30
Hit the open road in this fun variation of the Kinect racing game, now controller friendly! “In the new Stunt Park, show off your skills or explore and find collectibles that unlock cars, giving you an edge for faster races and death-defying stunts. Plus, race new tracks and old favorites in Battle Race, Pro Race & Time Trial.”
