Want to get a cheap Xbox One with an option for the next-gen system?
By now, some of you may have heard of Microsoft’s Xbox All Access program. This program is a deal in which potential consumers can pay a low monthly fee for an Xbox One console, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Live. Well, that program is back in spades, but now there’s an exciting perk for those that want to jump into the next generation.
Per the Xbox Wire page, Microsoft has announced that there will be an “option to upgrade to Project Scarlett once it’s available in Holiday 2020” as part of the deal. Users don’t have to pay anything extra upfront to be eligible, but they will likely need to pay additional funds for the upgrade. It’s not known yet if they’ll need to send in their recently purchased console as part of the package.
The package is available for the U.S., U.K., and Australia, with different price packages available. The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition goes for $19.99 a month for 24 months; the Xbox One S is $22.99 for the same period; the Xbox One X is $30.99 a month for 24 months. These appear to be for general system colors and don’t include any special editions.
According to Microsoft, the offer is only available through Dec. 31. But it does make for an ideal holiday gift for those that may be strapped for cash, or looking to get into Xbox One gaming for the first time.
While some retailers are still waiting to be confirmed, compelling consumers can check out this page on Amazon for more information. The purchase offer should be available soon, and will likely go fast once it’s ready.
