With Pokemon Go ramping up events for its 7th Anniversary, many trainers are looking back at how far they’ve come. There are many players who started Pokemon Go on day one that are still very active in the community even after seven years.
One trainer that started the game on day one posted a picture on Twitter displaying their start date, 7/6/2016. This screen showed just how much distance they had walked with the app since it launched back in 2016, which the user highlighted in memory. This opened up the discussion of first-day trainers talking about the journeys they’ve had with the game.

The user that started the discussion on Twitter shared a photo of how far they have walked with Pokemon Go which is 10,177.7 km. Another player at the very top of the comment list told people that it is okay if you weren’t a part of the game the very first day, that Pokemon Go is your journey, so be proud of it.
Another user has been a member since day one and said the single day they missed playing the game was when the app was experiencing some difficulties allowing trainers to sign in. Scrolling through the comments, we see a huge community of players coming together that started the game on day one, which is an amazing site to see as a lot of the time, the day-one players seem to disappear after a while.
