Blizzard has been rather busy as of late, more than on games, on business related stuff like all those layoffs.

Anyway, it still has some games in the making, such as Diablo Immortal, which is being built in cooperation with Chinese outlet NetEase.

During a call with investors, NetEase CFO Yang Zhaoxuan has shared that the game is “pretty much ready,” and that’s in line with the expected 2019 release for it.

Zhaoxuan didn’t want to provide more details about that, since he’s leaving the job to Activision Blizzard when it comes to more precise release windows.

“As to the exact launch timetable, I would encourage the market to direct their questions directly to Activision Blizzard,” he said, as reported by Bloomberg.

As you might remember, Diablo Immortal was announced at last year’s BlizzCon, and immediately sparked controversy.

Fans were indeed waiting for a Diablo 4 announcement, getting instead what they think is a cheap mobile game instead.

On top of that, rumors also claim that a Diablo 4 reveal was actually planned for the conference, but it got apparently cut last minute for some reason.
