According to a new rumor, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be offered in first person perspective and to be an action RPG in the likes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided featuring Fast-Paced gameplay and wall running mechanics.
According to a new rumor from website Game Pressure, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be offered in first person perspective and to be an action RPG in the likes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – so pretty different from the latest game from CD Projekt RED, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
“As we unofficially found out, this time the thing will be completely different and the game will actually be a FPP game with elements characteristic for role-playing games,” the report claims.
“Looking back at CD Projekt Red’s gamedev achievements, we don’t suspect the game to be a regular shooter, but rather an action game full of RPG elements that will offer the players many ways of solving problems; basically, it should be closer to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided than BioShock .”
On top of this, the game is also said to be very “fast-paced” and featuring wall running in the style of Titanfall games and that a portion of it will be playable on the Moon. That section would be in the making at the Cracow CDPR studio (one of the three currently involved).
When posted on ResetEra, the thread was slightly edited by the moderation team, which states that “for the sake of clarity, early documentation from CDPR’s Siggraph talk in 2013 already cited the game will have both a first and third person option.”
So, from this point of view, it might be something like what Bethesda currently does with its action RPG titles, perhaps with a bigger and smoother approach to the action matter.
Cyberpunk 2077 is still lacking a release date but, as CD Projekt RED prepares to the marketing campaign for the game, a second reveal is expected to drop at E3 2018 later this June.
