As you might’ve heard, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been revealed at E3 2018, where the developer CD Projekt RED showcased a 50-minute demo to the press in private hands off sessions.
While we’ve already read all the possible previous about the game, also detailing how the unexpected first-person view works, no off-screen video has popped up on the Internet from those sessions. Until now, at least.
A new, quick video providing a first look of the Night City environment has indeed appeared on YouTube, and you can watch it below if you want to have a first, although very brief, impression about how the game’s shaping up.
It is worth noting that this is just a portion of the game and that it’s not even played, perhaps because the press member who recorded it was afraid to be shown the exit or even be blacklisted (rightly, in that case).
Anyway, it’s a good off-screen video that allows you to have a look at how much colorful the city is, something that’s closer to a Ready Player One vibe rather than what most of the community was anticipating, but nonetheless compelling.
Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed back in 2012 and hasn’t been attached a release date yet, although it is likely coming between the end of next year and the first half of 2020, looking at the state of the work. According to rumors on the internet, the gameplay reveal is scheduled to take place at GamesCom 2018. The game will be playable in the first-person view.
